We will study how do we use our senses to collect information and what challenges face children or students with a sensory deficit. We will also look at the problem of sensory processing disorder or sensory integration disfunction with autism.
Learning and looking - investigates a visual curriculum for either visual learners or those with a visual loss.
You will learn about differentiation and how to be 'inclusive' in a learning environment.
There will be specific demonstrations about how to make numeracy, literacy even science great fun for all.
Learning and listening - will ensure delegates understand more about hearing loss and how to stimulate hearing with all kinds of sound.

Who is the course for... This course is for those working with learners who have severe or complex needs, including autism or challenging or unusual behaviours, based in special schools, units and colleges and for early years practitioners in inclusive settings.
At the end of the course the delegates will receive a DVD as the course notes full of video ideas.
