We will be bringing more down-loadable wheels to our website in the near future - with the aim of providing low-cost, suitable imagery to support curriculum subjects/storytelling/fun activities. We'd love to hear your suggestions.......
This wheel will work with any Mirage - Solar 250 or Solar 100 projector. You will need a blank wheel and some inkjet or laserjet acetate. For the best detail Epson SO41063 laser printer acetate is best, but cheaper is fine.

The wheels are at the bottom of this page
but read the instructions first!
If you are used to using PDF files you
may wish to skip the instructions. But test print on paper
first.
1. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat
on your pc you will need to
download it here. Follow the installation instructions
and this will install the required programme to read the
wheels on your computer. On Mac's use preview its just
the same but faster.
2. If you already have or have installed
Acrobat on your p.c. double click the picture below this
will open the wheel file page.
3. Then click on the blue lettering to
select the wheel you want.

4. The wheel will download to your
computer. When it has finished downloading, open the file
and you should see the wheel.
5. At this point you could try printing the wheel. In some
versions of acrobat you need to make sure you view the
page in ‘Actual Size’ not ‘fit in window’ or
‘fit width’. The
buttons or icons look like sheets of paper on the top
control bar. If you move your mouse pointer over the
buttons, it will tell you what the button does.
6. Always test print the wheels onto paper to check the
size of the image. It is always best to take a blank wheel
and use it as a template for size.
If you see something that says 'page scaling' make sure it
is set to none.
7. When printing you must use ‘inkjet/laserjet acetate and
print onto the rough side.
8. Set the printer settings for acetate
or transparency and print at the highest DPI possible. If
you don’t know what DPI is, don’t worry about it; normally
the printer sets it high for transparencies.
9. Wheels with dark backgrounds may need
a few minutes to dry.
10. Click on the pictures to get to the download page -
happy printing........
11. Please let me know if it
works!
