Note from Richard H ... the first answer from Pat is serious - not spam!

Pat Robinson said ... A vibrator because it can be used in many ways and is the most interesting piece of equipment.

Debbi Bewley says ... I don\'t have one piece of equiptment, more like a group purchase. We have many specal effect lights that cost between $5 and $10 each. Our whole sensory room cost about $650 and has a great variety of items in it.

Richard H ... Have a look at the Ikea comic sheet in the sensory ideas section of this site. I also like 'Princetontech Blast Torches' They are from the USA and are really cheap underwater torches. They are fantastic for water sensory activities.

Debbi Bewley says ... great website for limited budget www.coolstuffcheap.com

Richard H ... Your getting the right idea great site for all in the USA Debbi. Why pay through the nose when it could be cheaper. But do watch out for quality and safety issues with cheap equipment. In the UK standards can be a little few and far between!

Richard H ... Look at Sally Silvermans page on the site in 'sensory ideas' she has some great visual tips.
