Julie Eden in the UK... Has anyone got any new and stimulating ideas on using a shadow board both for PMLD AND SMLD students. We have a large wall mounted one at our school so lots of space but having never used one before I just wanted some interesting ideas. thanks...Julie

Making the shadow board portable will make a big difference. Used flat on the floor enables you to store the shadows of shapes and letters. Its great for getting students to look at or recognise letters. You can have guess the object competitions, by placing the object on the board and then... wait a minute I have too many ideas for this so I will do a comic sheet over the next couple of weeks. I will let you know when its done Julie.
Does anybody else have ideas to help with this?
