Early Years: Principles into Multi Sensory Practice

This dynamic workshop offers a deeper understanding of how positive relationships and enabling multi sensory environments form the foundation for every child’s unique development.

Three themes are explored, linked to learning and early developmental levels.

  • Positive relationships - Maria Robinson. This examines the developing brain and the role of empathy - seen as essential for the support of early levels of development.
  • The unique child - Flo Longhorn looks at how development and learning happen in different ways and at different levels, with particular reference to the special child and sensory development.
  • Enabling environments are demonstrated by Richard Hirstwood who will delight the audience with exciting environments that can support learning safely and with a touch of magic.
