Format
- Courses
do not have to be in a lecture format. Your requirements
may be served more effectively with a ‘hands on’ day.
Richard can work with your students and staff in your own
room or with Hirstwood Training equipment. The day or days
are split into sessions working one to one where needed, or
with small groups.
How
many people - For a
one-day lecture course, there is no maximum number of
people Richard can take. However on 2-day courses and
longer, 25 is normally the limit.
Times - Usually
the day/s begin at 9.30 with a discussion with the
delegates about the content of the day. However, we are
always happy to discuss the content beforehand, to make
sure delegates are being guided in a way which suits your
service.
Venues
- 1.
Blackout is essential to the Multi Sensory Room course. The
darker the better.
2. Only
one power socket is required for the equipment.
3. One large table will be needed for the course - there is
a lot of equipment.
4. An overhead projector and screen will be needed for the
course.
5. The course will take about 1 hour to set up, so we will
need to
be at the venue at around 8.15am
6. Parking is required, for a van with good access to the
room being used for training.
7. Most of the equipment will arrive
on a shopping type trolley (pictured.)
